About the Artist

Rob Schuetze has been capturing Ontario landscapes since 2002.

It’s all about time! When and how long a photo is taken can change the mood or show us something that we don’t usually get to see on a typical day.

The camera can only show us what it thinks we saw, it’s up to the photographer to correct what was experienced, but not to misrepresent what was not there. “It’s a delicate balance!”

Rob also enjoys sharing his experiences and techniques with others by teaching and providing workshops. Students get the opportunity to create their own masterpiece from images that they take

Rob produces all of his own prints from archival matte paper to large gallery size canvases. All printing follows the Giclée process of producing fine art.
These include:
  • Archival media (canvas or art paper).
    • Chromata White or Lyve from Breathing Color offer the best in the industry and include a Quality Archival Certificate
  • Archival Inks and Printers
    • Epson is the chosen printer. All use UltraChrome K3 inks which have been tested by Wilhelm Research for light fastness and longevity.
  • Archival Coating
    • Breathing Color Glamour II helps to protect the image from the elements, cracking and UV
